EroNet SC150 Erosion Control Blanket
An extended-term rolled erosion control product. The manufacturer classifies it FHWA Type 3.B / ECTC Type 3.B and describes it as "Extended Term - Double Net - Coconut/Straw Matrix - Erosion Control Blanket". The matrix is 30 percent coconut fibre and 70 percent weed-free agricultural straw; the top net is a medium-weight synthetic regular-degradable net, the bottom net a lightweight synthetic regular-degradable net, and the thread is synthetic regular-degradable. Published properties are 8.5 oz/sy mass per unit area, 150 lb/ft machine-direction and 130 lb/ft transverse tensile strength to ASTM D6818, an unvegetated permissible shear stress of 2.0 psf, and a RUSLE C factor of 0.03.
