A prescribed method of sampling, measuring and testing together with criteria for the acceptability of a lot of material or construction. Additive. A substance or agent added in small amounts to a basic ingredient of a mixture prior to mixing. 101.01 Definitions. Advertisement For Bids or Notice to Contractors. A public announcement inviting bids for work to be performed or materials to be furnished, as required by law. Area.
