Certificate of Compliance
Defined in the standard specifications of 3 state transportation agencies. Each definition below is the agency’s own text, with the section it comes from — they do not all say the same thing, and on a contract the difference is the point.

A certification, including a signature by a person having legal authority to act for the manufacturer, stating that the product or assembly to be incorporated into the project was fabricated per and meets the applicable specifications.
