R406 Reach Ranges R406.1 General. Reach ranges shall comply with R406. R406.2 Reach Range Limits. For forward and parallel approaches, the high reach shall be 48 inches (1220 mm) maximum and the low reach shall be 15 inches (380 mm) minimum above the ground surface. R406.3 Obstructions.
