628.03 Construction Requirements.
Install snow poles as follows:
1.Rigid Snow Poles . Assemble rigid snow poles, delineator , and ref lectors .
2.Flexible Snow Poles . Attach flexible snow pole to rigid delineator post and attach reflectors in accordance with the manufacturer’s written instructions.
628.04 Method of Me asurement.
The Engin eer will measure acceptably completed work per each.
628.05 Basis of Payment .
The Department will pay for accepted quantities as follows: Pay Item Pay Unit Snow Poles , Type ______ ...................................................................... 629.01 Description.
Mobilization consists of the necessary preparations to do the work. It includes the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the project site, the establishment of offices, buildings , and other facilities necessary for work, premiums on bond and insurance, and other work and costs incurred before beginning production work on contract items. Mobilization payments are divided to account for the preparatory work that is required throughout the contract term.

629.04 Method of Measurement.
The Engineer will measure acceptably completed work by the lump sum.
629.05 Basis of Payment .
The Department will pay for accepted quantities as follo ws: Pay Item Pay Unit Mobilization ............................................................................................. LS After contract award, and upon written request by the Contractor, the Department will issue the first progress payment up to 20 percent of the contract unit price or 2 percent of the total contract amount, whichever is less. Productive work on the project is not required for this payment. Once the Contractor has starte d productive work on the project site, the Department will pay 40 percent of the contract unit price or 4 percent of the total contract amount, whichever is less, on the next progress estimate. If the Contractor did not request the first progress payment, this payment will be up to 60 percent of the contract unit price or 6 percent of the total contract amount, whichever is less. The Department will pay 40 percent of the contract unit price or 4 percent of the total contract amount, whichever is less, on the next progress payment estimate. On co mpletion of work, the Department will pay any remaining mobilization bid amount.
