Incidental Hot-Mix Asphalt Surfacing Art. 408.05 231 SECTION 408. INCIDENTAL HOT-MIX ASPHALT SURFACING 408.01 Description. This work shall consist of constructing a hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surface on a prepared base. 408.02 Materials. Materials shall be according to Article 406.02. Mixture composition IL-9.5 or IL-9.5FG, C or D, shall be used. CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS 408.03 General. The base shall be prepared according to Section 358.
