Cable in Raceway Art. 817.02 697 Immediately after placement, the cable ends shall be sealed to prevent entrance of moisture and contaminates, unless splicing or termination work is performed concurrently. Where plowed, the unit duct shall be laid in place and the duct shall not be pulled through the length of the cut behind a bullet-nose mandrel or similar apparatus. Plowing operations shall be non-injurious to the duct. Before final wire and cable connections are made, the Contractor shall demonstrate that all conductors within the unit duct are free to move.
