1612 - GRAY-IRON CASTINGS 1600-22 SECTION 1612 GRAY-IRON CASTINGS 1612.1 DESCRIPTION This specification governs gray-iron castings that are subject to strength requirements. 1612.2 REQUIREMENTS a. Physical. The cast alloy is to comply with AASHTO M 105, Class 30B. b. Dimensions. The finished cast products are to comply with the dimensional requirements in the Contract Documents. c. Finish. (1) Provide all the cast products in the as-cast and as-machined condition.
