836.1 Description

836.2 Materials
Provide aggregate for surfacing or resurfacing that complies with DIVISION 1100.
836.3 Construction Requirements
Unless shown otherwise in the Contract Documents, grade the roadbed or subgrade to the lines and grades shown in the Contract Documents. Apply surfacing material uniform ly at the rate and locations shown in the Contract Documents. Do not haul and place material if th e Engineer determines that weather or road conditions are such that the hauling and placing operations will damage the roadbed or subgrade.
836.4 Measurement and Payment
The Engineer will measure surfacing material by the ton. Payment for "Surfacing Material" at the contract unit price is full compensation for the specified work.
