825.01 Description
Cut, clean, galvanize, and cap mast arms, mast arm poles, pedestal poles, and strain poles.
825.02 Materials
Cold Galvanizing Compound A780
825.03 Construction
Galvanized parts that have been cut or chipped to bare metal shall be repaired according to A780. Saw cut the pole or mast arm to the required length. Clean the area inside and outside with a wire brush. Spray cold galvanizing compound on the affected area. Place an end cap of matching size.
825.04 Measurement and Payment
Cutting and Capping of Mast Arms and Poles will be measured and paid for at the Contract unit price per each. The payment will be full compensation for all material, labor, equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
