1006 AGGREGATE FOR SURFACING 1006.1 Scope. This specification covers aggregate to be used for surfacing. 1006.2 Aggregate for surfacing shall be composed durable particles of rock or reclaimed concrete. When tested in accordance with AASHTO T 96, the wear shall not exceed 60 percent. The deleterious substances shall not exceed the following values and the sum of percentages of all deleterious substances shall not exceed 12 percent.
