CORRUGATED ALUMINUM ALLOY CULVERT PIPE AND CORRUGATED ALUMINUM ALLOY STRUCTURAL PLATE
1024.1 Scope. This specification covers corrugated aluminum alloy culvert pipe and corrugated aluminum alloy
structural plate intended for use in construction of pipe and pipe arches.
1024.2 Basis of Acceptance. The basis of acceptance will be in accordance with Sec 1020.2, Sec 1020.5 and as
specified herein.
1024.3 Material.
1024.3.1 Corrugated Aluminum Alloy Culvert Pipe. This pipe shall be in accordance with AASHTO M 196,
Type I.
1024.3.2 Corrugated Aluminum Alloy Structural Plate. Plates, shapes and fasteners for aluminum alloy field
bolted pipe and pipe arch shall be in accordance with AASHTO M 219.
