1067 TRUNCATED DOMES 1067.1 Scope. This specification covers truncated domes used for sidewalk curb cuts and pedestrian island cut- throughs. 1067.2 Domes. Domes shall have a base diameter of 0.9 to 1.4 inches. The top diameter shall be 50 to 65 percent of the base diameter. The dome height shall be 0.2 inches. Dome center-to-center spacing shall be 1.6 to 2.4 inches with a minimum base-to-base spacing of 0.65 inches. Stamped concrete will not be accepted. 1067.3 Panels.
