503 BRIDGE APPROACH SLAB 503.1 Description. This work shall consist of constructing a reinforced concrete or asphaltic concrete bridge approach slab on a prepared subgrade in accordance with these specifications and as shown on the plans or as directed by the engineer. 503.2 Material.
