SECTION 572 - STRUCTURAL STEEL PAINTING: SHOP APPLIED (Last Revised January, 2021) 572-1 DESCRIPTION. This work shall consist of preparing and painting new steel surfaces in a permanent facility, enclosure, or building, with four walls to grade and a roof, where surface preparation and painting activities are conducted in an environment not subject to outdoor weather conditions and/or blowing dust.
