ITEM 447 ASPHALT CONCRETE MAT AND JOINT CORE DENSITY ACCEPTANCE 447.01 Description. This specification describes the percent within limits (PWL) acceptance criteria for asphalt concrete surface courses using mat cores from each day’s production and joint cores from the completed cold longitudinal paving joints.
