Part 2 — Products
2.1 State Furnished Items
A.CCTV Camera Pole or L uminaire Pole
1.CCTV camera n on-lowering pole - 45 ft or 60 ft steel pole with anchor bolts

B.CCTV Camera System and Mounting Equipment
1.Pan-tilt-zoom ( PTZ) network camera system - includes the integrated CCTV camera and pan tilt unit, base, push- pull RJ45 connector kit and midspan ( power supply and AC cord).

2.2 Cctv Camera Pole Foundation

2.3 Underground Junction Box

2.4 Mounting Equipment

C.Provide copper pole grounding lug.
D.Provide all stainless steel fasteners and attachment hardware for bands and other equipment . Refer to AISI Type 316.

Part 3 — Execution
3.1 Preparation
A.Contact the Engineer at least 14 calendar days before State furnished CCTV camera system items are needed to request pick up of items . Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera System
B.Clear pole exterior of all loose rust and mill scale, dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign substances.
3.2 Cctv Camera Pole Foundation
A.Verify that the location s of the CCTV camera pole, cabinet, junction boxes, and foundation marked in the field have no conflict with existing underground and overhead utilities.
B.Construct pole foundation according to the AT Series Standard Drawings.
C.Cap all conduits before placing concrete.
D.Place and hold anchor bolts in proper alignment, position, and elevation before and during concrete placing and vibrating.
E.Place non- shrink grout between base plate and foundation surface after pole is installed.
F.Bond pole and grounding conductor to concrete encased grounding electrode. Refer to Section 16530.
3.3 Cctv Camera Pole
A.Install CCTV camera non -lowering poles with the hand hole facing away from traffic.
B.Install CCTV camera lowering poles with the arm extended toward traffic and the hand hole 90 degrees from the arm allowing access and the view of oncoming traffic.
C.Install ground lug and connect ground wire from lug to ground rod in the junction box.
D.Tighten top anchor bolt nuts, followed by bottom nuts, to a snug tight condition before loading pole.
E.Plumb steel pole to vertical with all CCTV camera equipment installed by adjusting anchor bolt nuts.
F.Install steel lowering cable in pole so no contact with any other cable is made during the raising and lowering of the CCTV camera. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera System
3.4 Cctv Camera and Camera Lowering System
A.Install the CCTV camera system according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
B.Install the camera lowering system on the CCTV camera pole according to manufacturer’s instructions .
C.Install CCTV camera system at the top of the luminaire extension, just below the luminaire arm joint according to AASHTO Standard Specifications for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminai res and Traffic Signals at signalized intersections .
3.5 Cat 6 F/Utp Cable
A.Install Cat 6 F/UTP cables in conduit and poles.
1.Run cables continuously and without splices between CCTV camera and cabinet.
2.Do not exceed 300 ft for length of Cat 6 F/UTP .
3.Use cable cord grip when and where exposed cables enter the pole.
B.Keep cable ends sealed at all times during installation until connectors are installed using a cable end cap or electrical tape.
C.Install cable without violating the minimum bending radius and the maximum pulling tension recommended by the manufacturer’s specifications at any time.
D.Provide 6 ft of Cat 6 F/UTP cable slack placed in the junction box adjacent to the cabinet . Refer to Section 13555.
E.Make all CCTV camera cable connections between the CCTV camera, surge suppression device, and communications equipment, as required to provide an operational CCTV camera system.
3.6 Its Cabinet
A.Refer to Section 13555.
3.7 Data Surge Suppressor
A.Mount , ground, and bond data surge suppressor. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Camera System
3.8 Anchor Bolt Pretensioning and Base Plate Grouting
A.Retighten all nuts to a snug- tight condition.
B.Pretension a nchor bolts by the turn- of-the-nut method by turning the top nuts 1/6 turn beyond the snug- tight condition.
C.Place non- shrink grout between base plate and foundation surface.
3.9 Its Integration, Inspection, Testing, and Acceptance
A.Follow the integration, inspection, testing, and acceptance process according to Section 13595.
