SECTION 252 - GRA VITY -FILL POL YMER CRACK SEALERS

252.01 Description

These speciﬁcations cover polymers used for gravity-ﬁlling sealing cracks in hydraulic cement concrete surfaces.

252.02 Materials

Gravity-ﬁll polymer crack sealers shall be a high molecular weight methacrylate, epoxy, or urethane conforming to the following: Properties of Gravity-ﬁlled Polymers Property @ 75 ± 5 °F Test Method Requirement Gel Time, 50 ml sample ASTM C881 6 hrs. max. Tensile Strength ASTM D638 1,500 psi min. Sand Penetration, MX-45 sand VTM 101 80% min. 252.02
