SECTIO N 701 – HYDRAULI C CEMENT 701.0 1 GENERA L REQUIREMENTS . Hydraulic cement shall meet the following general requirements :

Portland -pozzolan cem ent shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 240 and ASTM C595 , Type IP. 701.0 5 PORTLAND -LIMESTON E CEMENT . Portland -limestone cement shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 240 and ASTM C595 , Type IL. 701.0 6 PORTLAN D BLAST -FURNAC E SLAG CEMENT . Portland blast -furnace slag cement shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 240 and ASTM C595 , Type IS . 701.0 7 TERNAR Y BLENDE D CEMENT . Ternary blended cement shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 240 and ASTM C595 , Type IT .
