SECTION 228 SUBGRADE PREPARATION 228.1-DESCRIPTION: This work shall consist of preparing the subgrade for the placing of base or subbase in accordance with these Specifications and in reasonably close conformity wit h the lines, grades, dimensions and cross section shown on the Plans.
