SECTION 229 SHOULDERS AND DITCHES 229.1-DESCRIPTION: This work shall consist of trimming, sloping, shaping, grading, subgrading, scarifying, and compacting existing shoulders and ditches i ncluding inlets and outlets to pipe culverts, and constructing new shoulders and ditches where necessary, in accordance with these Specifications and in reasonably close conformity with the lines, grades, and cross sections shown on the Plans or established by the Engineer. 229.2-MATERIALS: Not Specified.
