SECTION 704 STONE AND CRUSHED AGGREGATE 704.1-STONE FOR MASONRY: Stone for coursed masonry shall be tough, sound and durable, resistant to weathering action, reasonably fine grained, uniform in color, and free from seams, cracks, pyrite inclusions or other structural defects. The stone shall have a compressive strength of not less than 5,000 psi.
