Re-roof permit checklist — Lakewood, Colorado
Assembled from Lakewood’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Lakewood requires a permit for a re-roof.
The Residential Roofing and Re-roofing handout exempts roof repairs of less than 100 square feet of area from a permit; the Exemptions from Permits handout carries the same 100 square foot figure but does not exempt a repair that requires the removal of mechanical or electrical equipment; the Lakewood eTRAKiT Permit Types sheet states no permit is required for repair of less than 1 square (10 square feet).
