Electrical work is exempt from a permit for repair and replacement of devices, including switches and receptacles, lighting fixtures and ballasts, a branch overcurrent device of the same ampacity and size, cord-and-plug connected temporary lighting, and apparatuses of systems operating at no more than 25 volts and 50 watts.
