Re-roof permit checklist — Springfield, Missouri
Assembled from Springfield’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Springfield does not require a permit for a re-roof.
Permits are not required for roof repair, roof replacement, or roof recover, as these are considered repair and maintenance activities. However, if any structural element is altered or replaced, or if more than 32 contiguous square feet of deck sheathing is replaced, a permit is required.
