Do you need a permit?
Chattanooga requires a permit for a shed.
Chattanooga City Code Sec. 10-3 replaces the first item of Section R105.2 of the adopted Residential Code with a 120-square-foot cap. A one-story detached shed, playhouse or similar accessory building whose floor area stays within 120 square feet does not require a building permit.
