Do you need a permit?
Bountiful requires a permit for general building work.
Bountiful City Code 4-5-106 makes it unlawful to erect or construct a building or structure, do any kind of excavation work, or disturb any land with a slope of 30 percent or greater without first obtaining all permits and approvals required by City or State law, and declares doing so both a misdemeanor and a public nuisance. Bountiful publishes no list of permit-exempt work of its own.
