Do you need a permit?
Saratoga Springs does not require a permit for a fence.
The city states: "A fence does not require a permit from the Building Department and approval from the Planning Department if the height of the fence is six feet or less." A permit is required only where a taller fence is approved: "In very limited situations, an eight-foot-tall fence perimeter fence may be approved... If approved, a building permit will be required."
