Implementing Order 4-63 ordered June 16, 2026, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026, supersedes the edition effective June 26, 2026 and applies a CPI increase to Section 1 Building Enforcement Fees (rewritten 2026-10-07 from the cited document). The minimum fee for all residential dwelling building permits (single family and duplex) is $150.82, and the same $150.82 minimum applies to all other uses; it does not apply to add-on permits supplementary to an outstanding permit for the same job. New construction of a detached single family or duplex is $0.985 per square foot, multi-unit single family townhomes $0.410 per square foot, additions to a single family or duplex $0.985 per square foot. Alterations or repairs to a single family residence or duplex are $0.500 per total square footage of the structure, maximum fee $870.00. Private provider options discount base fees 15% for inspections only or 30% for plan review plus inspections, never the minimum. Fee amounts increase each October 1 by the preceding year's CPI.

Treated as an addition it is $0.985 per square foot; treated as an alteration or repair it is $0.500 per total square footage of the structure, maximum fee $870.00. Either way the $150.82 minimum residential building permit fee applies unless the work is an add-on to an outstanding permit for the same job. An unreinforced slab on grade supporting the deck is a separate $90.85 residential slab fee, and a screen enclosure over it is $11.42 per 100 square feet.

The $150.82 minimum residential building permit fee applies to the permit.
