Grouting of Anchor Rods And Bars Art. 584.04 515 The mortar shall be placed to the thickness necessary to eliminate unevenness between the beams. It shall be placed to form a smooth even surface from the higher beam edges to the lower surface. The mortar finished surface shall slope not less than 1:3 (V:H) and shall be feathered smoothly into the deck beam surfaces. The finish shall be free of depressions or sharp edges.
