207 - OVERHAUL 200-22 SECTION 207 OVERHAUL 207.1 DESCRIPTION Overhaul is authorized hauling beyond the free-haul limit. The free-haul limit is the specifi ed distance the excavated material is hauled without additional compensation. Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the free-haul limit is 2,000 feet. Excavated material that is hauled and deposited acco rding to the Contract Docu ments, regardless of the length of the haul, is eliminated from consideration as overhaul.
