Section 1002 Asphalt Cement, Emulsions, and Additives 1002.01 ASPHALT MATERIALS. Asphalt cement and emulsions shall be from the Approved Materials List. Asphalt shall be prepared by the refining of petroleum. Asphalt shall be uniform in character, free from water, and shall not foam when heated to 350°F (177°C).
