1020 CORRUGATED METALLIC-COATED STEEL CULVERT PIPE, PIPE-ARCHES AND END SECTIONS 1020.1 Scope. This specification covers corrugated steel pipe, pipe-arches and flared end sections intended for use in the construction of culverts and similar uses. The steel used in fabrication shall have a protective metallic coating of zinc (galvanizing) or aluminum. 1020.2 Basis of Acceptance. Unless otherwise specified, the basis of acceptance will be in accordance with AASHTO M 36.
