902 TRAFFIC SIGNALS 902.1 Description. This work shall consist of furnishing and installing traffic signal equipment and material as shown on the plans. All work shall be in accordance with NEC, NESC and NEMA standards. 902.2 General. Existing traffic signals shall be maintained in effective operation by the contractor, except for shutdowns approved by the engineer for alterations or final removal.
