SECTION 556 - REINFORCING STEEL FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES 556-1 DESCRIPTION. The work will consist of furnishing and placing reinforcing steel for concrete structures, or stud shear connectors, in accordance with the contract documents, and in a manner satisfactory to the Engineer. Reinforcing steel for concrete structures may be uncoated, epoxy-coated, galvanized, or stainless steel, as indicated in the contract documents. 556-2 MATERIALS.
