SECTION 844 — MICROPILES — MICROPILES 844.01 DESCRIPTION. This work includes constructing, inspecting, and testing of micropiles and pile top attachments that meet the design load. This work includes drilling, furnishing, and placing the reinforcing steel and casing, grouting, pile top attachments, site drainage control, layout, elevation and location control, measurement, and marking, all asphalt removal, excavation, backfilling, and asphalt patching associated with the pile installation.
