SECTION 240—LIME

240.01 Description

These speciﬁcations cover lime to be used as a stabilizer or soil conditioner.

240.02 Detail Requirements

a.Hydrated lime shall conform to ASTM C207, T ype N, except that the average percentage of calcium oxide shall be at least 93. Single test results shall not be below 90 percent.

b.Hydraulic lime shall conform to ASTM C141.
