Assembled from Anaheim’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Anaheim requires a permit for a shed.
The Building Division's information bulletin B804, When Is A Permit Required?, lists one-story detached accessory buildings used as tool or storage sheds and similar uses, with an area not exceeding 120 square feet, among the work for which a permit is not required, subject to confirmation with Planning and Zoning that the proposal meets all zoning regulations.
