Toledo requires a permit for a deck.
Toledo Municipal Code 1305.02 waives the building permit for a residential deck of 200 square feet or less that sits within 30 inches of the ground at every point, stands clear of the dwelling, and is not the landing for the exit door. The Certificate of Zoning Compliance still applies to any deck.
