Shed permit checklist — Eagle Mountain, Utah
Assembled from Eagle Mountain’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Eagle Mountain requires a permit for a shed.
A permit is required for sheds over 200 square feet, and for sheds with electric or plumbing at any size. The city's handout lists those two cases as requiring a permit and does not otherwise list sheds, so a detached shed of 200 square feet or less with no electric or plumbing is not among the work the handout requires a permit for.
