Millcreek requires a permit for a deck.
A deck is exempt from the building permit where it stays within 30 inches of grade at every point, needs no guards, and is not the landing for the exit door IRC Section R311.4 requires. Planning and Zoning approval is still required for every deck, exempt or not.
