Assembled from Pleasant Grove’s own published permit rules. Every line below is quoted from a city document and linked to it. Nothing here is generated, estimated, or inferred from another jurisdiction.
Do you need a permit?
Pleasant Grove requires a permit for a shed.
The city's FAQ states that a permit is needed for building or installing any new shed or structure that is 200 square feet or larger, and that smaller sheds or structures do not need a permit; the fee for the larger structures is calculated based on size. The Building Division page likewise lists accessory buildings and 'Sheds >200 sq.ft.' among the work requiring a permit.
