Riverton requires a permit for a shed.
A detached single-story accessory building — a garden shed, a playhouse or something similar — needs no building permit as long as its floor area stops at 200 square feet and its height stops at 16 feet. Riverton is explicit that staying under 200 square feet does not release the structure from the accessory-structure setbacks in city ordinance.
