§ 56.19008 — Friction hoist synchronizing mechanisms
Subpart R — Personnel Hoisting
Where creep or slip may alter the effective position of safety devices, friction hoists shall be equipped with synchronizing mechanisms that recalibrate the overtravel devices and position indicators.
