Art. 729.04 Wood Sign Support 644 When the post specified is too long, the Contractor may choose to cut the post to the required length or increase the embedment. Any post cut shall be installed with the cut end at the bottom. 729.04 Method of Measurement. The metal post will be measured for payment in feet (meters). The length to be measured shall be the total length installed as shown on the plans. 729.05 Basis of Payment.
