Art. 830.03 Light Poles 706 830.03 Installation. The light pole shall be set plumb on the foundation without the use of shims, or washers for leveling. On bridge parapet walls, a vibration mounting pad shall be installed between the foundation leveling plate and the light pole. The handhole shall be located such that workers accessing the handhole shall face oncoming traffic directly or located on the back side of the pole facing the roadway.
