3457 LUMBER 3457.1 SCOPE Provide lumber for general building purposes. Refer to ASTM D9, Standard Terminology Relating to Wood and Wood-Based Products, for definition of terms. 3457.2 REQUIREMENTS Use Douglas Fir, Norway (Red) Pine, Ponderosa Pine, White Pine, or Southern (Yellow) Pine. Provide grade marked lumber graded in accordance with grading rules, adopted by regional associations of lumber manufacturers, in accordance with the requirements of the American Lumber Standards.
