Do you need a permit?
Chandler requires a permit for electrical work.
A building permit is not required for like for like replacement of residential circuit breakers, nor for replacement of lamps or the connection of approved portable electrical equipment to approved permanently installed receptacles. Ordinary repairs to structures are exempt, but adding to, altering, replacing or relocating electric wiring is not an ordinary repair, and neither is mechanical or other work affecting public health or general safety.
