Henderson requires a permit for electrical work.
The Electrical Permits Application Submittal Checklist points to Electrical Permit Exemptions in Henderson Municipal Code Section 15.01.140 and states that an electrical permit is not required for the items listed in sections (A) through (R). Section 15.01.140 as currently codified lists exempt items (A) through (Q); items include replacement of lighting fixtures in single family residences, dwelling units, guest rooms and guest suites as defined in the NEC, power-limited wiring of 50 volts or less in or associated with single-family dwellings, repair or replacement of fixed motors, transformers or fixed approved appliances of the same type and rating in the same location, and temporary decorative lighting.
