Do you need a permit?
Henderson does not require a permit for a re-roof.
Henderson Municipal Code Section 15.01.130 does not require a building permit for replacement of existing roofing material of the same or higher class and the same or lighter material where the work does not involve replacement of sheathing, or for installation of additional layers of roofing material over an existing roof covering that do not exceed the maximum allowable number of layers. Being exempt from the permit requirement is not license to carry out work that breaks the City of Henderson technical codes, ordinances, laws or regulations.
